Pearl

Katy Perry is a very unique human being, however I have come to have a great deal of respect for her. Yes she is not perfect, but I envy her ability to just be herself. She is such a spirited individual, and I think she is a wonderful artist. The song Pearl has to be one of my favorites. The lyrics hit home for me. I relate to the fact that sometimes we let people into our lives who fear the light that we shine. When we let those people in they try to make our lives darker, and we loose the pearl within our heart. I think once you realize who you really, are and rebuild that light you will realize your the most shiny pearl of all.
